Hawaii's International Conference on Aging. Almost every country in the Asia-Pacific region is experiencing a rapid growth of the elderly population. Although living a long life is good news, few countries are prepared to manage the needs and demands of large numbers of elderly people and a shrinking number of young people to care for them.

This conference is an opportunity to share information with our neighbors in the Asia-Pacific region about the nation’s Aging Network and special initiatives in Hawaii where our population is diverse, people live long, and the care of elders is revered with a spirit of Aloha and Ohana (family).
